Overview of the role

With substantial growth over the last 3 years, our client is looking to further develop their Tax offering by recruiting a Tax Advisor in to their corporate tax team. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax this is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients with interesting and varied challenges.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives

The successful candidate for this role would work alongside the Partner in providing a wide range of corporate tax and consulting service to a broad range of companies. Responsibilities would include:

• Working with the audit team in the preparation of the tax packs as part of the annual company/group audit
• Prepare corporate tax returns and advising clients on appropriate payments
• Providing ad hoc tax advice for clients and dealing with any HMRC queries
• Working alongside the Head of Tax in the delivery of tax advisory projects
• Support the partners and identify opportunities to add value to the existing client portfolio

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, forward thinking and career orientated individual. You will be part qualified/qualified CTA or ACA/ACCA and have experience of working in a practice. With an accounting background you will either have had direct experience in corporate tax or currently an auditor/accountant looking to now specialise in corporate tax.
