The SF Group is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading services provider, based in Nottingham for an Interim Revenue Accountant for a period of 6 months. This role reports to the Finance Directors and will work closely with the Group's central finance team. The business is highly dynamic as a result of recent acquisitions and is planning on continuing to grow both organically and by means of acquisitions. The focus of this role is primarily to support the team with the increased workload integration with clear and accurate analysis. You will primarily deal with reconciliation and review of regional costs, including monthly accruals and prepayments but may be required to support with other ad-hoc reviews and projects (e.g. Fixed Asset reconciliations, Intercompany).

As the Interim Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for reconciling data with primary sources to ensure that it is complete and accurate. Extracting, analysing and reconciling data from underlying accounting and other systems, assisting with the month-end close process, recommend improvements to processes and reporting, communicate findings to senior management, other ad hoc tasks and month end tasks may be added to the remit as required.

To be considered, you will be a fully Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or other relevant professional qualification). Ideally with at least 1-2 years PQE. You will have at least 4-5 years of relevant Financial Accounts or Management Accounts experience, be willing to put the hours in as and when required to meet internal month end deadlines, have the ability to deal with and understand large data sets, be highly numerate and be able to identify inconsistencies in data. You will possess strong Excel skills (meaning pivot tables, data conversion, look-ups, macros and formatting), experience with accounting systems (especially Oracle), demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, have experience in carrying out detailed calculations to a high degree of accuracy, audit experience beneficial, experience of technical accounting concepts would be advantageous, in particular revenue recognition.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a day rate of up to £275.00 on a Ltd Co/Umbrella basis.
