Badenoch & Clark are working in conjunction with a highly esteemed, market-leading company based out of Surrey seeking an exemplary candidate to assume the role of Finance Analyst. This opening is an ideal opportunity for you to apply your intricate knowledge of financial data towards tangible solutions and improvements throughout all tiers of the company.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be accountable for the Accounts Payable, Financial accounting, Financial Reporting, and Treasury roles. As such you must have demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of financial activities as well as having the problem-solving attitude required to constructively supplement company growth.
Key Accountabilities:
*Encode, account and Scan AP invoices
*Payments to suppliers and order monitoring
*Payments to HMRC for VAT and Corporation Tax
*Preparing Management Information packs (including those for the shareholders)
*Arranging annual statutory accounts, organising and maintaining cash flow forecasts and updating the financial model when necessary
*Budgeting and variance analysis
*Observing Fixed Assets
*Maintaining relationship with Statutory Auditors and fulfil obligations with regards to audits
*Managing all cash accounts and online banking system
*Performing drawdowns based on business needs and according to the agreements
*Monitoring hedging
*Setting up quarterly dividend payments
*With the support of an external financial services firm, draft the tax computations
Essentials:
*An excellent financial understanding and qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
*Ability to effectively communicate with other areas of the business and present to senior management both verbally and in written format.
*Full driving licence and ability to work away from home when required.
*Capability to grown in to an FD role as the company grows.
