Who we are looking for

This is a critical role within our UKI marketing, commercial and operations team. Working with operations directors, you’ll get under the skin of our business to help shape the 4p’s in-store. You’ll need to be able to talk confidently about product and to help marketing understand costings, so they appreciate what we’re selling, why and when across our c1,200UK Costa stores. Newly qualified with some commercial – perhaps even insurance – experience, you’re ready to tackle these challenges head-on.

A bit about the role
Pulling together the analytics and insight around price, promotion, place and product in the UK, you’ll be essential to shaping the commercial decision-making process. You’ll:

• partner with the marketing, product and operations teams
• examine margin performance across segments and categories and take responsibility for OPEX control and marketing spend
• sign off on all 4p business cases
• support the Head of Commercial Operations and Finance.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• a financial qualification (ACCA / CIMA / MBA)
• multi-site business experience in an operating / customer-driven environment
• significant business partnering experience and be able to effect change
• a strong commercial acumen and great negotiation and conflict resolutions skills
• the ability to design and implement process and governance cross-functionally.
