Reporting Accountant

Location: London E1W

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + excellent benefits

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) is the professional body for pharmacists and pharmacy in England, Scotland and Wales. 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified accountant (CIMAor ACCA) to work in a busy vibrant accounting team at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society where you can be part of our vision to help improve the public health. You will be responsible for producing and interpreting the monthly results for our publishing business, which sells a large range of digital and print titles to the NHS and to commercial companies in the UK and overseas, and for the Corporate Services based at our London headquarters.

You will have the chance to develop your skills through mentoring by our qualified accountants. Essential are a willingness to learn and quickly develop in the role and to engage with senior budget holders to help them manage their budgets.

The ideal candidate will have with proven experience in Finance, but just as importantly will have a positive, can-do attitude and is able to work well within a close-knit team. 

You will possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to challenge constructively.  You will need to have good organisational skills and experience at working to tight deadlines.

Good experience  of using the Microsoft Navision accounting system and excel and access would be an advantage.
