Accountant

My client is a hugely successful AIM listed Fund Business who are actively recruiting an Accountant to sit within their finance team. This is a newly created opportunity for this boutique business who are increasing their presence across the European market.

You will report into the Finance Director and will take responsibility for the following:

• Keep each UK companies accounting records up to date to accurately reflect the financial position of that company
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget of the Funds.
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly management accounts.
• Submit calculations of the monthly management charges on the various funds.
• Reconcile property service charge account.
• Assist in the preparation of the investor reports of the fund.
• Reconcile all the company’s bank accounts to the bank statements at the month-end
• Assist in the preparation of the financial statements.

The successful candidate will be studying a professional qualification such as (CIMA/ACCA). You will be proficient in Excel (V look ups/Pivot tables etc) and will have had prior experience working within a small organisation. Any experience working with a Real Estate or Fund business is advantageous.
