Finance Manager

Our well established SME manufacturing client have a vacancy for a Finance Manager. In this role you will be working alongside the Managing Director and Senior Management Team in a challenging, hands on role capacity with the autonomy to make your own decisions in a transparent working environment. Your remit will be to manage the finance side of things on a day to day basis, including preparation of management accounts/presentation to the board, preparing weekly cash flow forecasts, year end process/working with Auditors, preparing VAT, ad hoc analysis and commentary.  You will be given some responsibility for IT and HR, and will have the opportunity to influence the direction of the finance function and business decision making through improving and developing the management reporting processes. To be considered for this role you will have strong all round accounting experience, probably in a similar role within an SME business, and supervisory experience would be useful as you will have 1 direct report.   Strong Excel and systems skills are a must and you will be confident working closely with senior managers and building relationships at all levels.  This is a great role working for a successful business who are looking to grow the business further so this is a great time to come on board and help shape the future direction of the company!
