A multi-billion turnover business is looking for a Deputy Group Financial Controller to join its Head office team based in central London. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will incorporate all aspects of group reporting but also a wide range of projects as well as supporting the CFO. This is a very challenging role due to the complexity and scale of the business as well as having the credibility to interact with senior executives whilst managing a small but high calibre team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing large multi-currency consolidation
- Develop footnote data and supporting documentation with required analysis for the annual report to shareholders and interim financial statements
- Assistance in drafting of CFO report annual and quarterly earnings release
- Quarterly cash flow calculation for externals
- Analysis of foreign exchange gains (losses) by ledger
- Supervise, develop and evaluate 2 qualified direct reports
- Assisting with disposals and acquisitions
It is essential that you are a big four trained ACA qualified accountant who has already made the move into industry where you have gained experience of multi-currency consolidations and used hyperion.
