Financial Controller

My client are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to their team for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Working for a large international organisation you shall be responsible for looking after both the technical and FP&A teams. If you are seeking an interesting long term contract then this role could be for you.

Your responsibilities shall include;

• Leading and managing a team of 6 including Management Accountants & Analysts, with 2 direct reports
• Preparation of monthly review pack and group reporting
• Detailed review on budgets v forecasts and variances - and ensuring commentary is provided
• Review and improvement of internal accounting controls
• Oversight of cash and Credit Control
• Oversee the FP&A function and ensure timely and accurate forecasting and budgeting
• Ensuring 3 year planning is completed
• Corporation tax
• Supporting internal and external audits as required

This role shall suit

• A Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant who trained in audit
• Experience of operating within a large business, and exposure to financial control and FP&A
• An excellent communicator and manager
• Strong system skills, and process improvement
• Willing to commit to a 12 month contract
