Interim CFO

PSD is working with a market leading property company who are looking to recruit an Interim CFO to be heavily involved in acquisitions.

Duties will include:

Assist the Board with acquisitions assessments

• Take a lead role in due diligence
• Assist in developing and overseeing the implementation of the Corporate Strategy to underpin the growth of the business.
• Development, formalisation and implementation of robust financial policies, controls and reporting systems which will satisfy the requirements of external stakeholders.
• Developing a financing strategy appropriate to the current and future needs of the business including taking a lead in negotiating new funding and active monitoring of covenant compliance.
• Playing a major role in the investment decisions essential to the growth of the business.
• Taking primary responsibility for all financial matters relating to the business, including effective management of the expenditure and cash flow of the business and ensuring that the company meets its tax obligations on a timely basis.
• Developing an effective risk management process.
• Supporting the MD in the management of relationships and communications with equity and debt providers.
• Managing the relationship with the external auditors, tax advisors and other key suppliers.
• Ensuring all key decisions, asset investments and major acquisitions are supported by proper evaluations through establishing a formal process for investment decision making which takes into account operational and other risks.
• Working with the MD in developing budgets, forecasts and KPI’s
• Experience of acquisitions is essential
• Experience of working at senior level
• A strong understanding of complex tax rules and their structures
• Budgetary management and control
• Knowledge and experience of a variety of financial management systems
• Advanced computer skills, particularly Excel
• Development of complex financial models
• Development of financial strategies

Offer:  Interim 6 months (£700 per day)
