This is an exciting time to be joining our client as a Sales Ledger Administrator, due to a recent expansion of their UK business. Our client is a well-established, professional, multi-site Business Services client, currently experiencing high levels of growth.

Based at their Centre of Excellence on the outskirts of High Wycombe, the experienced finance team requires an experienced Sales Ledger Administrator to work closely with the Financial Accounting team, initially on a temporary basis, with the potential of extension to a permanent role, subject to performance and sign off.

Reporting to the Sales Ledger Manager, as a Sales Ledger Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily bank reconciliations (UK Sterling as well as various multi currencies)
  • Allocating all customer payments, via online banking, BAC's and Cheques accordingly
  • Responsible for clearing open balances from bank reconciliations daily
  • Resolving all queries in a timely manner, with professionalism
  • Assisting with month-end reports
  • Process all daily cash book receipts and payments
  • Develop good working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles
  • Recognising and communicating potential issues within team
  • Communicating effectively at all levels of finance and non-finance contacts

As a Sales Ledger Administrator, your background is likely to have come from a similar Sales Ledger role or Assistant Accountant role, and be looking to move into a larger accounting environment, and be available at short notice to commence this role.

You will offer a personable, engaging approach, as a Sales Ledger Administrator, and offer Intermediate Excel and a passion for numbers.
