Management Accountant

My client, a manufacturing organisation based in north Nottinghamshire, is looking for a solid management accountant who is used to fast paced environments. The role will have you working closely with the finance manager to produce financial information to senior management.

This role is filled with variation. You will complete month end processes within strict deadlines, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations. My client loves people with great attention to detail. You will spot trends, variance analysis, highlight any areas of concern and growth in order for senior management to make informed strategic decisions. Cash flows and Costs of the business are very important and they look to have someone looking at some analysis work and specific projects to look at ways in which the business can grow and develop.

Aside from the management accounts side, there are some compliance requirements including VAT, EC sales and Intrastat.

My client is looking to offer a salary of £35-40k with some great benefits and holiday allowances.

Ideally you will come from a manufacturing/retail or fast paced environment in order to hit the ground running. They are looking for someone who is Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with strong accounting and excel skills .
