Finance Business Partner

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a well-established and dynamic organisation with the appointment of a Finance Business Partner to strengthen their finance team and aid with the delivery of the overall business strategy.

Based in their modern Nottingham based offices, this job role will see you play a visible and key role within the commercial team.

They are looking for someone who not only has the capability to meet technical requirements but also displays the behaviours needed to build strong relationships with and influence a wide range of stakeholders.

A core requirement of the role will be to seek ways to continuously improve finance processes, reporting and overall support offered to the Management Team.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

* Key financial processes (including month end close, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and financial control and governance) for the designated business area
* Partnering with the Management team to help them understand their cost base and pro-actively identify process / service improvements opportunities and work with colleagues to implement
* Delivery of relevant and insightful reporting and analysis

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

*A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
*Ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment and respond under ambiguous situations
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, an unfaltering attention to detail and is highly logical and numerate
*Ability to present ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential manner
*A continuous improvement mind-set
*Proven ability to make financial information simple and insightful for finance and non-finance decision makers
*Solid appreciation of management accounting, financial data management and reporting within a multinational organisation

This role would suit a qualified accountant who already has strong partnering experience and is keen to further develop their commercial accounting experience.
