Head of Commercial Finance

An online Retailer are seeking an interim Head of Commercial Finance for a 3 - 4 month period.

This Greater Manchester based business have a strong brand name across the UK and Europe. Through continuous growth they are seeking a senior interim Commercial Finance professional to be hands on with a number of key projects to help the business drive forward and cope with astronomical growth performance. This is a truly fast paced business and will suit a seasoned Head of Commercial Finance from another Retailer to join highly entrepreneurial business. This interim role is paying between £400 - £450 per day.

Role & Responsibilities;

• To implement a new set of reporting procedures
• Ensure effective financial control systems are in place to manage the continued growth of the business
• Produce miscellaneous commercial and financial reports as required
• Timely and accurate analysis of budgets, monthly financial reports and financial trends to enable the Board in fulfilling their responsibilities
• Analysis of trading and commercial performance, presented weekly to the Board
• Responsibility for leading all company Financial Planning processes, working closely with all areas of the wider business to report on commercial performance
• Lead the day to day management of team to ensure team responsibilities and strict deadlines and accurately and robustly achieved

The successful candidate will be;

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• Experience of working within the Retail or FMCG industries is a necessity
• Hands on with robust financial controls in addition to possessing strong commercial stakeholder skills
• Strong work ethic and a high degree of self-motivation
• Available at very short notice

This role pay's a competitive day rate of £400 - £450 depending on experience, coupled with the opportunity to get hands on and involved with a staggeringly and rapidly growing Greater Manchester based Retail business.
