Financial Accounting Manager

This Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for a team of 5 who manage all financial controls, production and reconciliation of the balance sheet, ledger control, cash flow, VAT and tax compliance, and statutory accounts production.

The role of Financial Accounting Manager will be leading on all year-end accounts and working with a range of departments within the charity. This role will be actively business partnering across these as you will support them with any finance related queries regarding financial controls. There will also be an opportunity to work with the CFO to work on ad hoc reports for various projects.

As a qualified accountant, the successful candidate will be driven and ambitious with experience of managing a small team. They will have previous exposure to leading on statutory accounts production as well as working to lead audit. As a confident communicator, this candidate will be specifically looking to work within the charity sector and so charity experience is a desirable factor, but not essential so candidates of all sectors should apply. Candidates with an audit background would suit this role as well as someone who is confident in working with a range of budget holders.
