Finance Analyst

One of the largest property development companies with a turnover in excess of several hundred million in the UK is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their Finance team in a role offering a great deal of progression. This is a role for a particularly commercial, high calibre individual looking for a position which will offer huge scope for development with a strong team and the opportunity for a great deal of training and development.
This area of finance is fast-growing and this position offers the chance to develop whilst working on some of the largest projects in the sector. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing project appraisals to assess the commercial viability of both short and long term development projects
* Prepare reports and commentaries on the impact of the development plan on the long-term plans for the business
* Assess major new business proposals in the context of the Groups business plans; cash flow, financial capacity, critically appraising the financial viability of proposals. This will include carrying out, scenario modelling and financial viabilities review
* Critically appraise financial models that are used to assess new business opportunities

A strong understanding of accounting is necessary, and this position would suit either a part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified accountant.
