£55-60,000 + Benefits Package
Autonomous business unit of multinational manufacturer operating continuous performance improvement culture. Profitable with operations covering full supply chain and manufacture, sales and service.
The Opportunity:
A member of the Management Team, your purpose is to provide financial business partner support to your senior colleagues and take ownership of management accounting and reporting, including monthly reports and estimates, annual plans and strategy calculations.
- Provide management with financial information and business review and analysis and use this information to participate in planning, budgeting, decision making and controlling.
- Work as a business partner with areas of the business to prepare financial plans and estimates of future performance, budgets and develop strategy. Challenge the business and its financial performance.
- Monitor and analyse monthly results against budget and prepare and present financial performance reports. Coordinate financial planning process within the region.
- Prepare financial outlooks and business performance forecasts for the management.
- Coach and continuously develop the skills and capabilities of local business unit controllers
- Improve and develop current ways of working, tools, methods and processes.
- Development and tracking of KPIs and plans to deliver near term and strategic success
- Secure cash management in the region in cooperation with Corporate Treasury and central team.
- Monitor profitability, cost, working capital and cash flow development and ensure that all negative deviations are addressed with no delay
- Support sales, project delivery, supply and other functions in region-specific financial matters
- Participate in special projects, like Mergers & Acquisitions
- Provide training on financial matters to colleagues
- Coordinate local external and internal audit activities
- Monitor FX risk, customer risk, supplier risk in the Business Line and coordinate enterprise risk management actions
- Manage a motivate a small finance team.
