Anthony Cole Associates are proud to once again be asked to partner a globally recognised brand business embedded in the Media/Television industry. Due to an internal promotion and increased business demands, they are currently seeking a talented and ambitious person to join the team.

This commercially focused role comprises an equal mix of a business partnering element and central FP&A support.  The business partnering element will support the sales team, providing information, analysis, and insight to help maximize both financial and operational objectives.  The role requires a candidate who can provide both detailed financial analysis and establish close partnerships with the business.  The central FP&A support will consist of monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting consolidation and analysis for the whole group across a number of metrics.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Business Partnering

• Act as the business partner to the sales team, by providing proactive financial support.  This will include sales and cost reporting, forecasting and planning, commission approval and ad-hoc support

• Support for central revenue deals

• Petty Cash management; review quarterly reconciliations, review processes and implement audit/process recommendations, monitor cash advances

• Ad-hoc project support

Central FP&A

• Coordinate submission of monthly forecasts, ensure reconciliation to Hyperion

• Support quarterly reporting, assist with production of presentations for Corporate

• Produce monthly headcount reporting and forecast, including liaison with HR

• Support HR on Contractor reporting, monthly reporting and forecasting
• Provide HR with ad-hoc support for contractor investigations when ongoing

• Produce monthly sales metrics reporting

• Consolidate monthly capex reporting, ensure compliance to corporate reporting and master data

• Maintain group product/profit centre hierarchy

• Monthly/Quarterly compliance reporting and monitoring

To be considered for this excellent career opportunity, you will be a nearly qualified or qualified accountant with a strong academic record to date.  The client will be keen to meet both candidates from a Practice training background, or from a large, complex international business who has gained some solid Analysis skills and is looking to develop these yet further into a business/decision support role.  Naturally, you will be a first class communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels and foster strong working relationships with senior stakeholders.
