An excellent new opportunity for a qualified accountant to work in an Oil & Gas business


Our client, a AIM listed Oil & Gas business are looking for a qualified accountant who is looking to expand their skill set in a commercial accounting role. The business have grown massively following a recent acquisition and are therefore hoping to find progressive candidates who are looking for varied commercial challenges.

The opportunity would be ideally suited to someone who has 0-2 years post qualified experience and is therefore looking to stay within mainstream accounting whilst have a 50% involvement in commercial, strategic initiatives.

The Role

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Prepare budgets and forecasts
Preparation of year end statutory accounts
Business partner with budget holders to ensure achievement of budget/forecast
Ensure effective communication with every level within the business
Constant review of finance performance and processes to ensure things are continually improved
Ad hoc financial analysis

The Candidates

Qualified accountant - ACA / ACCA
Strong communication
