Management Accountant

An exciting, growing international Plc is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on an initial 12 month contract. The role would focus on a number of new projects and requires a commercially minded, confident Accountant. This role is ideal for those with a background in business partnering and has potential to develop beyond the initial assignment.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Production of the monthly financial reports including commentaries in a timely manner
• Overseeing all month end processes to facilitate detailed and accurate reporting of financial numbers
• Thorough and detailed assessment of all costs posted to the ledger; detailed processing and recording of all balance sheet items in particular income recognition
• Ensuring staff costs and expenses are accurately interfaced to the correct business area from HR/payroll feeder systems.
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Maintain accurate and timely records supporting all Fixed Assets values.
• Ad hoc projects when required

Ideally you will have/be:

• ACCA/CIMA Fully Qualified Accountant
• Previous experience within the Services sector highly beneficial
• Previous experience working within a business partnering role ideal
• Comfortable liaising with both finance and non-finance staff
• Hands on experience producing monthly management accounts
• Able to start at short notice
