Management Accounts Supervisor

Macildowie Recruitment is currently shortlisting for a Management Accounts Supervisor to join a large FMCG business based close to Junction 22 of the M1 in Leicestershire. This large business which has a turnover in excess of 500 million has an extremely strong balance sheet and is seen as the go to business in its field of industry. Located close to Coalville, the company is commutable distance from Leicester, Loughborough, Tamworth, Derby, Burton upon Trent and Nottingham.
Reporting to the Finance Manager this is an exciting role which is essentially managing a management accounts processing team of two accounts assistants. The team is in place to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet. Responsibilities include the management of two members of staff, preparation of month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, sales income reporting, reporting on sales & margin, managing supplier rebates.
To be considered for this role you most be lively, positive and keen to be working for a dynamic and thriving business. Your experience will cover Management and some financial accounting elements. Previous staff supervision experience would be beneficial. The client is open to considering candidates from two different background you may be an Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant who has the desire to manage and lead a small team or you may be tenured individual will similar experience from a large business.

Salary range from £26,000 to £32,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
