The key areas of responsibility are:
- Timely, accurate and complete quarterly, half year and annual financial reporting
- Ownership of the Annual Report
- Continuous review, streamlining, automation and improvement of Group's financial reporting systems and procedures
- Preparation of papers to the Audit Committee and the Board
- Liaison with the Group Auditors
Skills and Experience:
- Fully qualified (ACA or equivalent)
- 5+ years PQE, demonstrating excellent leadership, communication and project management skills
- Relevant listed company experience, with direct experience of Group Financial Reporting
- A team player with strong technical skills and a willingness to take ownership
- Proven track record of initiating and leading successful change
- Highly organized, able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with broad range of cross functional teams, including Senior Leaders and Executive teams
- Possess the ability to explain technical accounting requirements to non-technical people, good business acumen
- Advanced Excel
- Familiarity with recent developments in IFRS and UK / US GAAP
- Experience of multi-currency consolidations
- Ability to analyse financial data and draw sound conclusions from it
- Confident with complex concepts
- Bachelor degree
- Qualified ACA (or equivalent)
