Investment Analyst

Axon Moore is currently representing a highly acquisitive, entrepreneurial business based in Manchester City Centre. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a bright and ambitious Investment Analyst to join their Commercial Finance team. Working closely with Senior Management this is an ideal opportunity for a proven Analyst to join core team within the organisation who directly impacts business decisions both short and long term.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Providing detailed analysis of potential portfolio acquisitions
• Evaluate the ongoing return on investment achieved on historic portfolio investments
• Post-acquisition, early review and analysis of actual performance vs. forecast.
• Prepare the analysis required for the regular portfolio review meeting
• Independently review all submissions brought to the investment board, with critical appraisal of the assumptions underlying the proposed returns
• Working closely with the modelling team to ensure continuous development and enhancement of the valuation models

To apply for this role candidates must;

• Have at least 18 months experience within an Analytical role
• Hold a Numerical or Science based degree
• Have experience in SQL programming
• Have experience in data manipulation/ mathematical programming
