Our client, a well established and successful business have a vacancy for an Accountant on a part-time basis. Reporting into the CEO the accountant will have a broad role that will include the following: preparing management accounts with supporting commentary, intrastat submission, working with third parties for preparation of payroll and year-end submission, budgets, forecasting and quarterly VAT returns. You will also be responsible for transactional accounting including; managing sales reporting from other locations and uploading to portals, processing sales and purchase invoices, credit control/cash allocation, banking, dealing with finance queries and provide ad hoc financial support to the CEO/business as required. The ideal candidate will have proven all-round accounting experience, probably in a similar role within an SME environment, multi-currency experience, strong Excel skills, a can do attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. You will be comfortable working closely with senior management as well as building relationships at all levels. This is a great role working for a CEO who is passionate about his business and supporting his staff. The hours of work for this role are 9.15-2.45 Monday to Friday, there could be some flexibility for the right candidate. The salary on offer is £16,175 to £19,410 + contributory pension.
