Our client is the largest and most pioneering charitable organisation in it's field. They reinvest every penny they make into helping the people of Britain to lead better lives. As Deputy Finance Manager you will lead and develop a finance team to deliver a high quality finance service. You will work together with other management heads on common projects, implementing the strategy of the organisation lead by the Senior Management Team. Your primary responsibility will be the management of the Finance Team and the delivery of the accounting function. Other duties will include;

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Forecasting, budgeting and business analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure controls are in place to ensure adherence to financial governance policies
Become inhouse expert for the finance and administrative system processes & compliance

You will have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be used to manipulating large volumes of data in excel. You will also be an inspirational manager and be able to demonstrate strong persuasive skills.

You will be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of accounting ledgers and double entry bookkeeping. You will also have experience of managing teams.

Salary £30000 - £35000 dependent on experience
