Our client, a leading multi-million pound Business Services company based in Central London is looking for a Finance Analyst with the ability to business partner with the Operations team and Department Heads to ensure robust cost controls across the UK. The business is highly acquisitive and has firmly established their iconic brand over a number of years due to their service, focus and commitment, and thus, the business is on track for yet another successful year.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be business partnering with the Department Heads and Operations team, supporting them with financial analysis. You will be responsible for producing the budgets and forecasts, cost reports, management information and financial analysis to aid the business with making key decisions. The position will suit a confident and inquisitive professional with a desire to support the business. You will be able to manage large volumes of data, providing your interpretation and commentary for the Operations team and Department Heads.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Business partnering with the Operations team and Department Heads
  • Producing monthly management reports and analysis
  • Understanding cost variances and identifying key drivers of costs across the business
  • Analysing the various KPIs; understating trends and key drivers
  • Producing the cost budgets and forecasts across the business
  • Supporting the UK business with strategic options and long term decision making
  • Preparing monthly commentary for the monthly management packs
  • Supporting the FP&A Manager with ad-hoc projects

This role requires a driven, proactive Finance Analyst with the capacity to produce management accounts, gather business intelligence and business partner with key stakeholders. A highly inquisitive and analytical individual will succeed in this role.
