Group Finance Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving publicly quoted group which operates internationally within the import, distribution, real estate and investment sectors. They have a T/O circa GBP200m, and offices internationally. This is a high profile role in a small head office with exposure to main board directors.
Your duties will include:-
End to end responsibility for interim, and year end group financial statements;: from planning, through instructions to subsidiaries, consolidation, management of annual audit process, to production of finished accounts
Preparation of annual financial statements of head office companies
Preparation of budgets for head office companies
Reviewing and improving the monthly investment portfolio reports and quarterly head office company management accounts, prepared by the assistant accountant
Key involvement in improving controls and procedures
Setting up of new subsidiaries and creation of their accounting procedures

Your experience will include;:-
A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Strong multi-currency consolidation experience
IFRS understanding
Excellent excel skills
Experience of working independently with limited supervision
A strong communicator both verbally and written
Management and statutory accounts preparation
