Credit Controller

Fantastic credit control opportunity in Norwich

Your new company and role
Our client based near Norwich city centre are looking for an experienced credit controller to join their finance team in a stand-alone role.

A busy role, working for a growing multi-depot organisation, within a pro-active finance team.

Credit control for multiple depots communicating by telephone, email or post.
Opening new trade accounts and carry out necessary credit checks.
Dealing with all sales ledger queries.
Ensuring accurate month end statements sent to customers.
Payment processing using credit card terminal.
Liaising with solicitors on debts requiring further action.

What you'll need to succeed
Strong communication skills at all levels both external to the business and internally
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt to using bespoke accounting software.
Experience of working in a busy accounts office.
Track record in improving rate of debt collection.
Experience of using Microsoft Excel and Word.
