The Opportunity
Finatal are working with a newly private equity backed SAAS business, based in Central London (Farringdon), to recruit an interim Group Accountant. The role will be varied and will play a support role throughout a period of change, including the private equity take over.
The Role
More specifically as Group Accountant you will;
- Consolidate group management and financial accounts for a complex structure a number of entities and 3 currencies
- Producing statutory accounts under IFRS for various entities, and prepare for year end audit
- Support the Group Financial Controller with a systems implementation (yet to decide the system)
- Various ad hoc work on a group level, including complex reconciliations and reporting improvements
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant, however CIMA and ACCA qualified candidate will be considered also. Exposure to working within a private equity backed business is preferred due to the fast pace nature of this organisation, as is experience in working within a SAAS based business. You will also have experience in contract revenue, and it’s essential that you have recent knowledge of IRFS. Day rate is £250-350 p/d and the contract is for an initial 3 months.
