You will work for a well known financial services company in Edinburgh City Centre. This company is seen as a respected company with a forward thinking approach. They have a good reputation for taking care of their staff and offering opportunities for growth and development. You will sit within the Credit Control team in the finance department. The team is supported by experienced and professional line managers who will support you during on boarding and throughout your contract.
Your new role
Your new role will be working as a credit control analyst on a 12 month contract. As a credit control analyst you will collect outstanding debts by phone and email. Responsible for your own ledger with roughly 600 + European / American accounts. You will prepare monthly reports and account reconciliations. Part of your role will be to attend regular meetings with the Accounts Receivable Manager to provide progress updates on collections.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have credit control experience from within financial services or from a global organisation. You will have a can do attitude and exceptional communication skills. You should have strong attention to detail and be highly numerate. You should be immediately available or be on a short notice period. Experience using Oracle would be highly advantageous.

In return for your commitment to the role you will have given a 12 month opportunity. You will receive a generous hourly rate that will be paid on a weekly basis through Hays. You will be supported throughout the contract by a dedicated Hays consultant.
