Group Accountant

Axon Moore is working with a growing and profitable industry leader, looking at add an ambitious and high-calibre Group Accountant to their high-calibre leadership team.

Based in Cheshire, the business has undergone significant change in the last 12 months and envisages further growth in the future.

Working alongside a high-calibre Group CFO and Group Financial Controller, the Group Accountant will be looking for a dynamic and varied work environment where they can make a significant impact within a market-leading business.

The Group Accountant will undertake the following roles and responsibilities;

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual Statutory accounts
• Assist in producing information for the Board

• To participate in cross-functional projects aimed to improve performance and to provide leadership and/or financial oversight where necessary

• Complete the Group’s cash flow and prepare the commentary
• Budgets & Forecasts
• Process, Procedure and Policy Review & Improvement

The successful candidate will be fully qualified ACA or CIMA with an outstanding academic track record. The Group Accountant will be able to demonstrate experience in a dynamic and changing environment.

In addition, the individual will have the following skills and experiences;

• First time passes within either CIMA or ACA
• Strong Excel skills including pivot table, vlookup capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Minimum 2:1 degree from red-brick university
