Farrer Barnes is working with a Large Secondary school located in a very popular commuter town a short drive away from Maidstone. The school which is highly regarded and enjoying is now ready to appoint a self-motivated Multi Site School Business Manager. The position will hold responsibility for all aspects of the non-educational management of the school including finance, HR, facility management and ICT.
This diverse and interesting position will maintain the efficient management of the Schools budgets and finances, premises, ICT, HR & payroll and H&S matters. The financial management of the School requires effective completion of month end processes and the successful applicant will A key element of the position will be to add value to the School through developing strategies to enhance income streams by maximising on all potential finance avenues.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing SBM or Finance professional to progress to the next stage or for an AAT, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA accountant to transition into the Education sector. PS Financials experience will be highly regarded, as would knowledge of working within and education environment. The role would suit an independent thinker who works well autonomously and who has the versatility to manage deadlines and changing priorities.
