Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A leading consultancy business in Cambridge are looking for a Qualified Finance Manager to join the finance function in a newly created role due to internal changes.

Working closely with the Finance Director and Operations Manager you will be joining a business that are continuing to see consistent growth who provide an outsourced service to a variety of clients across the country.

The role would support the reporting and planning process for the business. You would be responsible for all accounting functions including the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records and oversight of controls and budgets across the business. While working closely with the Operations Manager you will provide key financial information to support the senior management team and assist in business modelling. The role would be hands on and see management of one accounts assistant who is currently going through their studies. There is opportunity to progress with the FD looking to reduce their hours which will increase the responsibility of this position and reach across the wider business.

The successful applicant will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) with prior experience in managing the full accounting cycle from a management and financial accounting perspective. You will be able to manage your workload aswell as support a junior member of staff- while challenging the operations team on more analytical findings.

Salary £45,000- £50,000 p.a
