Financial Accountant

Blackwaters is recruiting a Financial Accountant for a multi-site retail company based in the north of Hampshire. 

A dynamic, fast paced and growing organisation, the right candidate will be working closely with the Financial Controller and provide key financial support to the company. 

Responsibilities included:

• Full responsibility for the balance sheet, reconciliation, control and risk assessment 
• Assisting with month end responsibilities
• Responsible for the multi-site property accounting 
• Monitor and reporting on cash flow position, including inter company cash flow forecasting
• VAT returns and HMRC liaising
• Assist with budgeting process, looking at historical positions and assessing as required
• Analysis of overhead expenses
• Organised the annual audit files and involved in the annual audit process liaising with the auditors

In order to be considered for the positions you will be:

• Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• A background with strong financial reporting and balance sheet management
• Practice background is advantageous
• Management accounting exposure desirable 
• Strong Excel skills
• Proactive and communicative
