Finance Director

Our client is a leading manufacturing business located in Sale, Manchester. They are currently recruiting for a Finance Director to join their well established company on a permanent, full time basis.

The Finance Director will work alongside the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in the companies continued growth strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely production of financial information whilst having day-to-day responsibility for the finance team.

Key responsibilities will include.

• Form a close working relationship with the Managing Director, other Senior Executives and Non Executives.
• Provide accurate and timely monthly Management Accounts prepared by the Management Accountant, ensuring accuracy of all financial information.
• Presentation of Monthly Accounts at Board Meetings and preparation of a full financial board report for all companies.
• Preparation and Consolidation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Ensure that the Finance team are motivated and developed and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
• Set and manage effective KPI's for the Finance team.
• Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy to all aspects of the businesses.
• Play a fundamental part in providing the Boards with accurate accounting and overviews of the businesses.
• Responsible for the production of the financial statutory accounts in conjunction with the auditors


 

You will be qualified in ACA/CIMA/ACCA to be considered for the role and having worked within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
