Your new company
Our client is an innovative, marketing leading organisation in the manufacturing and supply industry. They have over 50 years' experience in servicing clients of all different sizes throughout the UK. Due to recent growth and acquisition, they have a newly created vacancy for a dedicated Company Accountant for their site based on the outskirts of Carlisle.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the main responsibilities of this Company Accountant job are: -
- Assisting the Finance Director with financial projects and business improvements
- KPI analysis and projections to drive operational performance and decision making
- Systems improvements and management
- Ongoing budget projection amendment based upon company performance YTD
- Due diligence on new projects and acquisition
- Management, statutory accounting and ad hoc support for the Finance Director
What you'll need to succeed
- Technical strong accountant; this an excellent progression opportunity for a Part Qualified candidate.
- Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is a must.
- High level of Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables v Lookups etc…)
- Proven commercial acumen
- Flexibility to travel to other sites
