Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity to join a well established firm in Halifax as a part time management accountant

Your new company
You will be joining a long established firm in Halifax in their expanding finance team. They provide services to the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

Your new role
Your new role will involve, Internal Financial Control, Management Accounts, Forecasting, Analysis and Reporting, Compliance with regulatory requirements, Payroll and Credit Control

This is a permanent part time role 3 days per week. No preference on which 3 days or reduced hours over 5 days (21 hours per week)

You will be be based in Halifax but the role may also involve occasional visits to other offices at Manchester, Leeds and Cambridge.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to manage your own workload
• Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial
• Have the initiative and confidence to work directly with fee earners
• Ability to build relationships with internal colleagues
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly with excel where we would expect intermediate or advanced level
• Experience of database working
• Strong IT skills
• Be analytical

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet multiple demands in a fast paced and changing environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Knowledge of working in an international context (currency conversions etc)
