The business is already looking to expand due to its growing reputation and impressive customer portfolio, and the ambitious MD is looking to add a future FD, who wants to add value to the business and can help dictate the financial strategy.

This key commercial role will work in partnership with the Managing Director meaning strong communication skills and an ability to push back is vital. Ensuring the financial reporting integrity of the business and providing key analysis which will influence and dictate commercial strategy will be a major part of the role. The MD is looking to give over full ownership of the financial reporting and accounting, with a small, dedicated team in assistance.

Interpersonal skills are an absolute must as you will be tasked with building and profiting on strong relationship with non-finance staff, suppliers, senior board members and customers. We are looking for a real Business Partner, so you need to be someone who enjoys getting on the 'shop floor'. Qualifications would be desirable but not essential - though a commercial mind-set and ability to implement cost saving improvements is integral. This is an outstanding role, allowing somebody the opportunity to make a real difference and impact on the business.
