Financial Accountant

The Client
My client is a leading financial services business with a turnover which exceeds £500 million. Due to business growth, an enviable opportunity exists for an experienced individual to join the accounting team. This role would be ideal for a finalist/ recently qualified accountant with ACA or ACCA who is looking to make their next step. Individuals looking for their first move from accountancy practice into industry will be considered and this role would be an ideal first move.

The Role
Working in this busy finance team you will be responsible for:

Preparation of quarterly and annual statutory accounts
Liaison with external and internal auditors and other professional advisers
Liase with clients where appropriate
Undertake adhoc finance tasks as and when required

The Person
Applications are welcomed from individuals who are finalist / Newly qualified ACA / ACCA or CGMA. Ideally individuals will have:
Two years experience of the preparation of financial statements either within an accountancy practice or within industry
Knowledge of FRS 102 would be ideal however this is not essential.
