Corporate Tax Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a passionate, intelligent, ambitious, articulate and commercially astute corporation tax manager in our Manchester office. Your role will be divided between the management of a corporation tax portfolio and assisting the directors with tax advisory projects. The corporation tax portfolio consists of a range of OMB businesses, corporate groups and professional partnerships. Clients are from a range of industries and size range from £10m to £40m turnover in the main. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the compliance returns and excellent client service, billing & WIP management, implementing departmental improvements and helping to develop and grow the team through coaching & mentoring, together with advisory work on your portfolio. The support you will provide to the directors on other advisory projects will include planning for entrepreneurs, transactional tax (acquisitions, disposals, restructuring) and group reorganisations, amongst other bespoke projects that arise. You will be highly motivated and a confident self-starter with an eagerness to make the role your own and take ownership whilst maintaining team ethos.
