A high growth, entrepreneurial VC backed European Technology business are looking to recruit a Global CFO. Headquartered in Lisbon, with a presence across 8 offices around the world and operations in more than a hundred countries in all 5 continents this is a high profile and challenging role reporting directly to the Board.

 

With ambitious growth plans over the next 2 years, this role will be instrumental in shaping the growth of this business and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

 

You will be required to effectively manage all financial and risk management operations of the company.

 

Key aspects of the role will include:

· Assist the Board with financial reporting as required at Board meeting.

· Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions

· Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation

· Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

· Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures

· Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary

 

The successful candidate will be an experienced Director or C level individual who has vast experience of working within international finance, within a global business. You will be driven, motivated and a critical thinker who is commercially astute.

 

Fluent English is essential for this role.

 

Portuguese language and Technology background would be advantageous but are not essential.
