The Opportunity

A global private equity-backed software and marketing services business is currently seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller to join the team. Formed over 10 years ago this is a company that have built their success on market-leading technology, category expertise and a direct focus on transparency and measurement.

The Role

The Group Financial Controller will have a critical role within the finance function, responsible for the organisation of the finance function fit as it needs to be rapidly growing, geographically dispersed and commercially diverse. Reporting directly into the CFO you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an effective global finance function, whilst establishing and maintaining financial policies and processes. You will be involved in various M&A related activities, working alongside the FP&A Manager in the CFO’s absence. You will also need to develop existing processes and procedures for the business to ensure business efficiency is maximised.

Requirements

To apply for this role you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with previous experience of working within a private equity-backed business. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be securing and building key relationships with both internal and external suppliers. Aside from this, you will also need an analytical mind-set, enjoying technical challenges and managing priorities successfully.
