Badenoch & Clark are currently partnering a highly reputable and prestigious company based out of Shoreham towards the appointment of a Credit Controller. You will be accountable for the pursuit and collection of outstanding debts and as such will be a pivotal point of contact for internal project managers and customers alike.
You must be simultaneously pro-active and personable in your day to day function as the role necessitates you to build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and clients. As such, you must have the interpersonal and communicative capacities required to convey information with accuracy and credibility.
Key Accountabilities
*Contact customers & internal Project Managers to assist in cash collection in a timely manner in order to meet cash targets
*Working with customers and the Project management community to proactively prevent queries which may result in delayed cash collection
*Maintain the aged debtors for the company and detailed records of client chasing activity
*Produce and maintain the master debtor tracker report, aged debtor report, billings report, other adhoc hoc debtor related reports
*Work together with the Working Capital Manager to produce the weekly direct cashflow forecast by providing input on receivables
*Attend weekly debtor review meetings
*Provided weekly updates to senior management on progress of cash collection
Essentials
*Extensive Credit Control background with a track record of success in a similar organisation
*Proven experience of chasing large value invoices and oversees customers
*A strong knowledge of Excel would be advantageous
*Confident in dealing with customers & building strong client relationships
*Keen attention to detail & proactively resolving invoice queries & delays to payment
*Ability to work on their own without close supervision
*Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and influence all levels of the organisation
*Recognised credit control qualification or studying for AICM or MICM (desirable)
