Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading business based in Walsall to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to the team.

Our client are a well known business who offer an excellent working environment and plenty of opportunity to progress.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the control and processing of large volumes of invoices whilst meeting deadlines.

Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

  • Processing invoices and credit notes using an ERP system
  • Manually processing debit notes
  • Releasing invoices for payment
  • Statement reconciliation's
  • Answering ledger queries and passing on to the relevant teams
  • Distribution of the daily post
  • Data analysis
  • Distribution of daily post
  • Ad-hoc project work

The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk:

  • Purchase Ledger experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Intermediate Excel skills
