Seymour John are currently working directly with a market leading organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. The role shall closely support both the Logistics Manager and Account Manager for a key client. The position will enable the site’s finance team to respond proactively and appropriately to the fast changing operational environment on site.

Reporting directly into the finance manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing monthly reporting packs for both internal and external stakeholders. The review and reporting of site costs is an integral part of the position, as is supporting the site’s forecast/budgeting process. You will be required to provide your own insight and ideas on ways of maximising profitability by developing a better understanding of the overall finance operation. You must also be able to demonstrate an ability to identify and highlight commercial opportunities.

You will be required to take the lead on the presentation of financial data at client meetings and also be the first point of contact for any client interaction (finance related). The development of all internal reporting of the contract is an essential requirement of the role, whilst also ensuring that the wider business can fully understand the financial performance and variances to forecasts.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified accountant with previous experience of working in a commercial finance role. Experience of working in a client facing role or dealing with external clients is also desirable. Strong IT skills are essential, specifically strong working knowledge of both SAP and Microsoft Excel.
