Financial Controller / Finance Business Partner

Commercial Divisional Financial Controller required for a Manufacturer based in Essex.

Whilst reporting to the Divisional Director of Finance and managing the Finance Manager you will be largely responsible for the Business Partnering to aid the commercial decision making across the division.

Key accountabilities include: Contract and performance review, overseeing manufacturing facilty as a Finance Business Partner, development of performance framework, creation of KPI's, supporting the operations team as Finance Business Partner, attending operational review meetings, creating and maintain contract models to ensure revenue is maximised whilst keep risk to a minimum, budgeting and forecasting and provision of commentary around actuals, investment appraisal, interpreting financial data to non-finance management, cost management, improving and advising on financial performance, overseeing statutory client and funder reporting, quarterly VAT returns.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA with a background as a Finance Business Partner or Financial Controller within a contract led Manufacturing business.

You will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to gain the buy-in across all levels of management combined with a strong appetite to deliver profit.
