Tax Senior

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Tax Senior to join a leading Chartered Accountancy practice in Barnsley.

This is a medium sized practice with an established team of friendly professionals. You'll undertake a mixed tax role that will see you work with a wide range of clients including HNWIs, Directors, Limited companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders. Duties will comprise a mixture of compliance and advisory work covering personal tax, corporate tax and partnership tax calculations; as well as advice on property taxation, P11ds, capital gains, company structure, buy outs, share advice and potentially some occasional projects in areas such as inheritance tax.

As this is a senior role, you will need to have previous experience of working in corporate or personal tax and be confident in dealing with a broad range of tax compliance issues for SME clients. A relevant qualification such as ATT or CTA is an advantage but is not essential provided you have experience in a relevant role. The firm are looking for good communicators who enjoy dealing directly with clients, building relationships and acting as an advisor.
