Commercial Planning Consultant

A leading technology firm based in Cheshire is looking to recruit for 2 Interim Consultants to support the Commercial Planning department for a number of months during a busy period.

The role(s) will be highly Business Partnering focused and will liaise across Finance and Technology teams to provide key financial planning, modelling and analysis support to the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business cases for complex, technical projects including data gathering
• Complete detailed pricing analysis to support evaluation and vendor selection for new commercial deals, including establishment of current baseline
• Help maintain commercial plans and track progress against plans

Skills required

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate large amounts of complex data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate data gathering and validation of business cases / pricing analysis
• Ability to "hit the ground running"
• Ideally, a basic understanding of a Technology business

Candidates will come from a data heavy analysis background and have strong Excel and data modelling skills. A finance background will be useful to prove a strong understanding of numbers however this role does not necessitate a qualified accountant.
