Our client is a well known UK retail and pharmaceutical business, with outlets in every major town. Due to continued growth, they are actively seeking to hire a fully qualified Financial Accountant - Tax, who has VAT and reporting experience, at their HQ.
The role of Financial Accountant - Tax is to be based in Chessington within the UK Headquarters of this pharmaceutical company. As part of a large finance function, you will be responsible for:
- Production of annual corporation returns and payroll tax returns, VAT returns within HMRC requirements
- All VAT related matters and be seen as the go-to person
- Provide technical assistance to junior staff
Candidate Requirements for Financial Accountant - Tax:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Direct experience of VAT and reporting - UK GAAP / IFRS
- Industry experience an advantage but not a prerequisite
