Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of business performance analytics, identification of trends, risks and commercial opportunities. The successful applicant will be comfortable in analysing large amounts of transactional data to identify trends and insights, which will help to drive the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the delivery of robust and detailed budgets and forecasts, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance, particularly in the area of revenue and gross margin. Preparation of short term cash flow projections. Business partnering to produce management information and analysis of revenue and margins. Monitoring and analysis of key supplier activity and calculation of rebates. Assist in the development of financial models and systems. Ad hoc reporting, analysis and commission statement production Proactively managing workload to ensure all deadlines are met within month-end timetable.
Person Specification:
-Good analytical and financial modelling skills
-Advanced Excel skills
-Strong communication (both verbal and written)
-Experience in working within a business partnering role preferred
-Excellent attention to detail, and comfortable with dealing with large bodies of data
